Terms of Service
Last updated 28 July 2026. These terms cover using this website and working with HibbTech on a project.
Who these terms are between
These terms are between you and Aiden Hibbard, trading as HibbTech, based in London, United Kingdom. Using this website, or engaging HibbTech for a project, means you accept the terms below.
This website
This site and its content, design, and code belong to HibbTech, except where a client project is shown with permission. You're welcome to browse and share links to it. You're not permitted to copy, scrape, or reuse its design or code for your own site without asking first.
This site is provided as-is. HibbTech doesn't guarantee it will always be available or error-free, and isn't liable for any loss arising from its use.
Quotes and payment
Project quotes are estimates based on the scope discussed during the initial chat. Projects typically start with a deposit, with the balance due on completion, unless otherwise agreed in writing. Ongoing hosting and care plans are billed on the schedule agreed when you sign up.
Revisions and scope
Each project includes an agreed number of design revisions, set out before work begins. Requests that go beyond the original scope, such as new pages or features not originally discussed, may be quoted separately.
Ownership
Once a project is paid in full, ownership of the final design and code produced for you transfers to you. Until then, it remains the property of HibbTech. Any third-party tools, fonts, or licensed assets used in your project remain subject to their own license terms.
Your responsibilities
You're responsible for providing content, feedback, and access needed to keep a project moving, and for any accounts (such as domain registration or third-party services) set up in your name. Delays in providing these can affect project timelines.
Cancellation
Either side can cancel a project in writing. Work completed up to that point is payable, and any deposit already paid is non-refundable once work has started.
Liability
HibbTech will do the work to a professional standard, but isn't liable for indirect losses, such as lost business or data, arising from your use of a delivered website or system, beyond what's required by law.
Changes to these terms
If these terms change, the update date at the top of this page will change too. For active projects, the terms agreed at the time of booking will continue to apply.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. Any questions about them can be sent to hello@hibbtech.com.
